The Genetic Lives of Fruit Flies | UConn
Why are fruit flies used so frequently in scientific research? Because despite how tiny they are, despite the differences in how they are born and how they develop, fruit flies - or Drosophila - are strikingly similar to mammals - including human beings. And in one UConn laboratory, the genetic lives of fruit flies are playing a critical role in our understanding of female reproduction and women’s health.

We’ve made great strides toward those goals, including the installation of a state-of-the-art fuel cell at the Depot Campus in 2022 and the addition of eight more fuel cells that will soon come online at UConn Storrs. The body considers the tattoo ink a foreign substance. White blood cells constantly try to control ink. Get skin checked regularly. Skin cancer is hard to diagnose under tattoo sleeves and other tattoos.

this dude is lying. Theres strong ( unofficial of course) evidence that tattoos cause cancer ALL tattoo ink either secretly- or not contains heavy metals heavy metals fuel parasites and cancer. when placed on skin, they can enter lymphatic system. if you try to laser them off. causing autoimmune diseases such as MS ( this happened to 2 people I know) All these people covered with tattoos? You arent going to find them with tattoos on their bods for 50 years and die of natural causes at 80. This is why tattoo parlors are everywhere. Thats why they dont warn the population of it either...another part of the planned Depopulation. For decades, most people back in the 90s and 2000s with many ( or entire sleeves) of tattoos are typical lower class people. they get the tattoos because they live a wild carefree lifestyle- hang out with the wrong people. do drugs, drink etc... So as you can see , low class people are NORMALLY low bred- and typical when they would get sick( cancer/ autoimmune diseases etc-) people thought it was just from the poor lifestyle or addiction but People never really thought tattoos MIGHT also add to their health woes. nowadays that isnt the case as its very stylish and has moved onto middle class( or even upper middle) there are VPs if Banks walking around with entire sleeves. and thats why - all because you wanted to look cool to your friends- peer pressure- you just shortened your lifespan significantly and most likely guaranteed you get cancer. and you cant remove it. If you remove the tattoo. its even worse. the metals and toxins it quickly ( a large amount of toxin at the same time) gets drained into the lymph nodes, with heavy metal clogging them- which pretty much guarantees you get stage 3a + cancer in the future NO- chelation can fix this. So if tattoos are bad and its a bad idea to remove it,and the more you get the sicker you will get, what do you do? leave them as they slowly fade. and pray it happens slowly over a long period of time and it MIGHT be able to get out of your body without too much damage

I wasn't able to get ABA as a kid. I wonder if having it would have prevented my suicidal thoughts and half-hearted suicidal attempts in elementary school. If it could have prevented the 3 day autistic meltdown I had my junior year, bedridden from stress. But also, I'm glad I didn’t get the ignoring from meltdowns I heard people get PTSD from in ABA, nor was forced to push myself all day. I've worked as an ABA therapist now, and I can tell you that only a couple therapists truly seem "born" to work with kids. Those ones are angelic and would be an absolute DELIGHT to have gotten ABA from. Watching them made me want it, perhaps even if I didn't need it (though I did). Most of the others are kind of tired and want adult-minded social interaction. They seem like they're just there for a couple years and then they plan to leave. The speech pathologists who came to our center regulalry, said that our center was the best one in the whole area, because everyone was always happy, and communication was really good. We were happy despite our tiredness, because our supervisor did an AMAZING job at making us all feel loved, giving constructive criticism clearly yet without judgement, praising what we did right, and working on helping us improve over time instead of expecting superhuman perfection immediately. My point is, I'm sure there are many others who had quite different experiences, where things weren't so close to heaven on earth. I think ABA is a blessing for stuff like learning to talk and go to the bathroom, and naturalistic teaching, and therapists who totally love the kids, know how to work with them, make things enjoyable, make them feel unconditionally and beautifully loved, and bring light to the kids' eyes. I really, really wish that (1) they'd prioritize having that light in their eyes (like I hear DIR Floor Time therapy does for autism), and (2) They'd respond to meltdowns by experimenting to find what helps them calm down, even if some of the attempts make the meltdown temporarily worse. Then when the child is an adult, they will know how to calm down from their meltdowns. That would be great. They also need to help kids find ways to stim as much as possible in socially acceptable ways. Stimming improves mental health. The unprocessed energy gets stuck in you, and it has to go somewhere, and it goes out by stimming. As an adulr, I've now experimented with various stims and toys. I flap my hands more socially acceptably by doing it with a slinky. This is, only if the child cares about others not judging them. I care. I actually wish I didn’t.
